These washi paper wrapped black chopsticks are designed with tropical colored Sakura (cherry blossoms) on a sand background. Washi is generally tougher than ordinary origami paper made from wood pulp, and is used in many traditional arts. These chopsticks are matte textured handle to tip for easy handling. The textured surface also makes them excellent hairsticks. The chopsticks have a base of Malas wood (Homalium tomentosum), harvested in Papua New Guinea. 9 inches long. Made in Japan.
