Satin like texture on the domed handle end and dark wood with texture to the tips will have you enjoying every last bite. The chopsticks have a base of Jabon wood (Anthocephalus cadamba), harvested in Indonesia. They have a Polyester Urethane protective finish. Chopsticks are 9 inches long. Dishwasher safe. Made in Japan.

A smooth, beautiful pair of chopsticks! The description is exact, no guessing. This pair surprised me and was a little heavier than expected. The slight extra weight makes them so much easier to use. While the textured ends go up a little higher than I like, they make holding food so much easier. Just enough to hold food tightly, not too rough to cause problems. You can't go wrong with these. The full dragon on each stick makes a bold statement. I paired this set up with the dragon chopstick holder.
