Stunningly beautiful handmade Wakasa chopsticks. Translucent rich red lacquer over gold foil with mother of pearl and diagonal bands of shells and minerals. Naturally heat and water resistant. Truly amazing looking chopsticks that look better in real life than in a photo. The chopsticks have a base of Malas wood (Homalium tomentosum), harvested in Indonesia. The handle is coated with Acrylic and the tip in natural Urushi lacquer finish. Chopsticks are 9.125 inches long with lightly textured tips. Hand made in Obama, Japan on the shores of Wakasa Bay.
