The Aya Nishiki Black Wakasa Chopsticks are beautiful dark wood chopsticks with handles decorated with mother of pearl, gold foil, layers of colored lacquer (red, green) and mineral specks, all embedded in a gloss black finish. The chopsticks have a base of Malas wood (Homalium tomentosum), harvested in Indonesia. The handle is coated with Acrylic and the tip in natural Urushi lacquer finish. These long chopsticks do not fit any of our chopstick boxes. Our long webbing sleeve is a good choice. Chopsticks are 9.75 inches long with lightly textured tips. Hand made in Obama, Japan on the shores of Wakasa Bay.
